This system is mostly used in textile industry around the globe now. This test method describes a procedure to establish a numerical designation for grading of fabrics from a visual inspection.

Denim weaving machine is rapier loom and weaving mode is woven. Unlike other fabrics, denim can change the style and effect of the cloth by washing. Jeans have gone through the following processes: Yarn – Dying – Woven – After finished – Cutting – Finished garment jeans – Washing.

In the manufacture of denim, the quality of the warp determines the grade of the denim.
